Job summary

Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) and its Family of Brands is seeking to recruit a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our clinical team. As a PTA, you will closely support physical therapists in delivering high-quality rehab services in a patient-focused environment.

You will implement therapeutic exercises, assist with treatments, educate patients and families, and contribute to accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• State licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Competence in assisting with therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist.
• Communicate with PTs regularly about patient progress.
• Guide and instruct patients in therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Monitor and record patient responses to treatments.
• Set up and maintain equipment for therapy sessions.
• Document treatment plans, progress notes, and other records promptly.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, home care, and safety.
• Collaborate with PTs and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
