Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state practicing.
• Associates degree, PTA program.
• Current CPR certification and AED training.
• Minimum of 2 years experience outpatient experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Energetic and a team player.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional patient care and service.
• Progressing patient’s plan of care established by the PT.
• Communicating with physicians through progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Frequent communication with supervising PT regarding treatment plans and follow-ups.
• Supervising rehabilitation aides and administrative staff as needed.
• Engage in community services and outreach activities.
• Documenting all treatment in patient charts and SOP notes.
