Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited PTA or PT program.
• Current valid State license/registration.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently.
• Ability to stand/walk for the majority of a shift.

Responsibilities

• Carry out skilled treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Document patient activities and charges using proper medical terminology in a timely fashion.
• Maintain respectful, clear communication with patients, families, and medical staff.
• Adhere to State Practice Acts, OSHA standards, and Medicare regulations.
