Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Current valid State PTA licensure and CPR certification.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently and stand/walk for a majority of a shift.
• Strong teamwork, time management, and active listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out skilled PTA treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Record patient activities and charges using medical terminology in a timely fashion.
• Maintain respectful dialogue with patients, families, and medical staff.
• Adhere to State Practice Acts, OSHA standards, and Medicare regulations.
