Responsibilities

• Administers physical therapy treatments under supervision of a PT.
• Administers manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Instructs patients to improve functional activities such as gait and ADLs.
• Observes patient responses and reports progress to Physical Therapist.
• Fits and trains patients with braces, prostheses, and assistive devices.
• Collaborates with PT staff to plan and modify treatment plans.
• Provides orientation to new staff and aides.
• Performs clerical duties such as inventory and communications.
• Measures range of motion and vitals to assess treatment effects.
