Job summary

Powerback, a leader in physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapies, is hiring licensed physical therapists to join our diverse rehabilitation teams. You will provide patient-centered care across settings and collaborate with therapists to implement individualized treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from patients’ residences.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences and required meetings as a representative of physical therapy.
• Ensures adherence to department and patient treatment schedules with timely documentation.
• Collaborates with rehabilitation team to implement patient-centered programs.
• Assists the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Instructs patients, families and caregivers in PT techniques under supervision.
• Maintains timely documentation for all patients treated.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and reports repair needs.
• Puts patient service first and ensures compassionate care.
• Implements individualized treatment plans as established by the PT.
