Qualifications

• Pass the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
• Licensure or eligibility as a Physical Therapist Assistant with the Colorado Physical Therapy Board.
• Graduated from an accredited PTA program.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member with physicians, providers, and staff.
• Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to react calmly in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in patient screenings, assessments, and evaluations.
• Implement treatment plans as directed by supervising PT.
• Communicate patient status changes and reassessment dates to support coordinated care.
• Maintain a safe, organized clinic environment and assist in equipment upkeep.
• Participate in educational, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform therapy procedures on assigned caseload under PT direction.
• Complete all documentation in a timely manner.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
