Job summary

MB Healthcare is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the Rehabilitation/Therapy team at Doctors Subacute Healthcare + Rehab. The PTA will support the PT, measure motor function, document progress, and guide residents through prescribed exercises.

Responsibilities include stretching, massage, assisting with equipment, and educating residents on proper exercise to improve mobility. Maintain confidentiality and comply with laws; experience in long-term care is preferred.

Qualifications

• A graduate of an accredited PTA Program
• Current State PTA License
• Experience in long-term-care settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Measure Residents' motor function and document progress
• Observe Residents and write progress reports
• Assist Residents in carrying out exercises
• Apply stretching and massage techniques
• Help Residents use equipment and devices
• Educate Residents on proper exercise to improve mobility
• Maintain Residents' confidentiality and comply with laws
