Bluestonetherapy is looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Waterloo, IA to provide skilled physical therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in skilled nursing and rehabilitation settings. This role involves implementing treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Ideal candidates will be graduates of an accredited PTA program with a current state license, and strong communication, organization, and clinical reasoning skills. Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
Current Physical Therapy Assistant license (or eligibility for licensure) in applicable state.
Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute rehabilitation preferred.
Responsibilities
Provide skilled physical therapy treatment in accordance with established plans of care.
Implement individualized treatment programs focused on functional and measurable outcomes.
Treat adult and geriatric patients in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting and rehabilitation settings.
Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress with the supervising Physical Therapist.
Maintain timely, accurate documentation to support quality care and reimbursement standards.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and facility staff to support positive patient outcomes.
