Job summary

The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputable healthcare organization in Blue Ridge, GA, to recruit a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for its Rehabilitation Department. The PTA supports patient recovery by implementing therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, restore function, and prevent disability.

The role also involves patient education and promoting best practices among students, staff, and healthcare professionals. Schedule is Full-Time | Days in Blue Ridge, GA.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in PTA curriculum from CAPTE-accredited program.
• Current Georgia PTA license and completion of approved PTA education and exam.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating and implementing patient care plans, delivering therapeutic interventions, and maintaining accurate treatment records.
• Communicate with physicians, staff, patients, and families regarding treatment plans and progress; contact referring physicians for updates.
• Participate in educational activities and training for students and staff; pursue professional development opportunities.
• Follow safety protocols, report hazards, and maintain patient confidentiality per ethical standards.
