Job summary

Renewal Rehab is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant for a full-time role in Glenview, IL, within a skilled nursing/long-term care setting. Must hold a current PTA license in the state and possess strong communication and organizational skills.

You will provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed PT, assist in identifying appropriate patients for therapy, and coordinate with the PT for evaluation and referral while maintaining regulatory documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current license as Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following state practice guidelines.
• Assist in identifying appropriate patients for therapy and coordinate with the PT for evaluation and referral.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintain documentation to meet all regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all required physician orders are obtained and up to date.
