Job summary

Colonial Manor of Elma is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team. You will implement and support customized therapy programs under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, helping patients regain mobility and confidence.

Qualifications

• State of Iowa Physical Therapy Assistant License required.
• Experience preferred, but new grads welcome and supported.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing customized physical therapy programs under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Help patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence through targeted therapy exercises.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and at-home exercises.
• Ensure patients feel supported and comfortable throughout their therapy sessions.
