Job summary

Reliant Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver therapy services under the supervision of a licensed PT. You will work with patients in our care communities, executing treatment plans and coordinating with Rehab Technicians where applicable.

Responsibilities include maintaining professional standards, complying with state and federal regulations, and contributing to an effective physical therapy program across facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant state license.

Responsibilities

• Support patients in improving functional abilities under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Contribute to development and sustainability of a robust physical therapy program.
• Advance clinical, professional, and leadership skills through collaboration and continuing education.
• Maintain a current and valid state license and stay informed on developments in physical therapy and healthcare.
• Understand and apply appropriate billing practices and treatment delivery models, ensuring care meets clinical and regulatory standards.
• Follow infection control and environmental safety protocols within the facility.
• Demonstrate proficient reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English for effective communication.
