Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current state PTA license or certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary.
• Ability to follow treatment plans accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs.
• Maintain equipment and treatment areas.
• Communicate patient status with the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Other duties as assigned.
