Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) and its Family of Brands seeks to hire a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Milpitas, CA. You will collaborate with a clinical team of PTs and PTAs to deliver high-quality patient care, implementing therapies and aiding in rehabilitation plans.

You will support documentation, education, and patient progress while leveraging innovative tools and a supportive environment for ongoing professional development and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program completion.
• State licensure or certification as PTA.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain detailed records.
• Prior PTA clinical experience preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by the PT.
• Communicate with PTs regularly about patient progress.
• Guide and instruct patients in therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Monitor and record patient progress and responses to treatments.
• Ensure adherence to attendance and caseload management.
• Assist with ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and other modalities.
• Set up and maintain therapy equipment.
• Document treatment plans, progress notes, and related records.
• Educate patients and families on home care and exercise routines.
• Collaborate with PTs and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
