Job summary

Benefis Health System in Montana is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support the Physical Therapist in implementing the plan of care and treatment programs to restore patient function and mobility.

You will educate patients and families about the treatment program and disease process, work with a diverse health care team, and help ensure compliance with licensing, policies, and safety standards, including current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• AA degree from a school approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Current Montana PTA license.
• Temporary licensure as governed by the State Practice Act.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT in implementing the plan of care and treatment programs to restore patient function and mobility.
• Educate patients and families about the treatment program, disease process, and prevention of further injuries.
• Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and handle changing situations.
• Follow licensing board requirements and Benefis Health System policies and procedures.
• Perform assigned duties as directed by supervisors and adhere to all regulations.
