Job summary

Canyon Vista Medical Center in Sierra Vista, AZ is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join the Acute Rehabilitation Unit. You’ll administer therapies under supervision, assist in mobility and exercises, and help monitor patient progress to support recovery and safe, effective care.

Applicants should have an Associate’s degree in PTA, current state license, CPR certification, and rehab or acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from a Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current PTA license in state of practice.
• CPR Certification required.
• Rehab or acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
• Team-oriented and patient-focused with strong communication skills.
