Job summary

Bronson LakeView Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for full-time outpatient therapy with a 1:1 patient care model in Paw Paw, MI.

Under a licensed PT, the PTA will deliver skilled therapy to patients recovering from injury, surgery, and musculoskeletal, neurological, and orthopedic conditions, aiming to improve mobility, function, and independence. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered, with benefits starting on day one.

Qualifications

• Graduate PTA must be licensed in Michigan and in good standing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Basic computer/EMR skills are necessary.
• BLS certification within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PT treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement treatment plans and goals.
• Provide one-on-one patient care using prescribed interventions.
• Educate patients and families about home exercise programs and wellness.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care discussions and quality improvement activities.
• Supervise students and assistants as assigned.
