Job summary

Central Bank of the Midwest is hiring a part-time Teller at Shoal Creek to process transactions and deliver customer service in a fast-paced retail banking environment.

You will balance cash drawers, assist customers, and look for cross-sell opportunities while maintaining a professional image and supporting the bank’s financial well-being.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and/or customer service experience preferred
• Basic math skills, computer/typing skills and the ability to count U.S. currency
• Analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work well with customers

Responsibilities

• Process financial transactions accurately and timely via lobby, drive-thru, ATM, and other avenues
• Balance cash drawer and research differences
• Listen to customers and communicate in a friendly, positive manner
• Recognize customer needs and cross-sell bank products/services
• Make referrals to other lines of business for traditional and non-traditional products and services

THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION. SCHEDULE: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30-5:15. every Saturday 8:30-12:15. Flexibility to work more hours as needed.

As a valued member of the retail bankingteam, you will play a key role in supporting banking operations and contributing to important decisions. Tellers works in a fast-paced, engaging environment with opportunities for growth and advancement. The ideal candidate will project a professional image and while serving as the face and voice of our organization. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to build relationships, get to know our clients, and support their financial well-being by offering tailored solutions to meet their needs.

• Process financial transactions accurately and timely in a friendly and professional manner. The variety of transactions may be completed via the lobby, drive-thru, ATM, and other avenues.
• Balance assigned cash drawer and research differences where applicable.
• Actively listen to our customers, and communicate in a friendly, positive manner at all times; even in difficult situations.
• Recognize customer needs and cross-sell bank products/services ensuring recommendations are customer centric to meet the needs of the customer.
• Make referrals to other lines of business for traditional and non-traditional products and services.
