Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Chattanooga at Cleveland is seeking a Team Leader for Physical Therapy to guide a regional inpatient rehab team and drive excellent patient outcomes. You will supervise scheduling, onboarding, and staff development while delivering compassionate, hands-on patient care.

The role emphasizes leading by example, collaborating with hospital departments, and advancing evidence-based treatments in a supportive, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited therapy program.
• Minimum of three years of experience in physical therapy or leadership, with two years of clinical experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Therapy Operations in daily operations of the therapy team, including scheduling, orientation, training, and communication.
• Provide direct care to patients and build rewarding relationships to aid in recovery.

Your Role as a Leader in Physical Therapy
