Wallace State Community College in Alabama seeks a Sports Information Specialist to promote athletics, coordinate game-day coverage, statistics, and media content for student-athletes.
You will manage the athletics website, social media, and collaborate with coaches; assist with photography, video, news releases, and feature stories; ensure accurate reporting and professional communications.
Evenings and occasional overnight travel may be required; strong writing and media skills are essential.
The Sports Information Specialist supports the promotion, communication, and documentation of Wallace State athletics and its student-athletes. This position assists with athletics communications, game-day coverage, statistics, website and social media content, photography and other media needs, and promotion of athletic programs and accomplishments.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The College reserves the right to fill the position within four months of the stated deadline date or not to fill the position due to budgetary or operational considerations.
