Job summary

Main Line Fertility in Reading, PA is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Sonographer to join our fertility clinic team. The successful candidate will perform transvaginal and pelvic ultrasounds, provide excellent patient care, and support patients throughout their fertility journey.

Ultrasound experience in reproductive medicine is preferred. Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-12:00pm, with weekend/holiday rotation; Location: Reading/Wyomissing with occasional travel to Bryn Mawr.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; graduate of an accredited Sonography program, RDMS OB/GYN certification.
• At least one year of OB/GYN or fertility ultrasound experience preferred.
• Experience performing transvaginal and pelvic ultrasounds is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare room and ultrasound machine for diagnostic testing.
• Review patient chart and pertinent information prior to testing.
• Explain testing process to patients and answer questions.
• Perform ultrasound examinations and obtain measurements.
• Document results in the electronic medical records system.
• Maintain rooms and stock linens; ensure a clean, organized environment.
• Adhere to HIPAA, safety policies, and regulatory requirements.

Description

We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Part-Time Sonographer to join our fertility clinic team. The ideal candidate will have experience performing transvaginal and pelvic ultrasounds, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting patients throughout their fertility journey. Ultrasound experience in reproductive medicine is preferred.

Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-12:00pm, with weekend and holiday rotation

Location: Based in Reading/Wyomissing, with weekend and holiday rotation in our Bryn Mawr office

Job Duties will include:

• Prepare room and ultrasound machine for diagnostic testing
• Review patient chart and other pertinent information prior to testing.
• Explain testing process and procedures to patients and answer any patient questions.
• Perform appropriate diagnostic tests in a timely manner
• Obtain measurements and calculations of female anatomy while performing a detailed ultrasound examination.
• Communicate effectively with medical staff regarding pertinent ultrasound findings in a concise, complete, accurate, and timely manner.
• Document results utilizing our electronic medical records system.
• Stock linens and maintain rooms in a neat and orderly manner
• Maintains strictest confidentiality, in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Complies with applicable regulations, accreditation standards, and laws, adheres to the policies, procedures and rules of the Company, follows Company protocols and standard operating procedures, and complies with all safety policies.
• Provides a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and complies with appropriate and approved safety standards.

Responsible for ultrasounds including but not limited to:

• Follicular Counts
• Saline Infusion

Education and experience:

• HS diploma or GED required, and graduate of an accredited Sonography program, holding a RDMS certification in OB/GYN
• At least one year of experience in OB/GYN or fertility practice strongly preferred
