Job summary

Music & Arts, part of the Guitar Center family, is seeking a driven retail professional in Virginia Beach to meet personal sales goals and deliver superior customer service. You will support the store's sales objectives and take on senior-level responsibilities within the store.

The role includes promoting the Music & Arts lesson program, building relationships with teachers and community organizations, and participating in merchandising and store operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Skilled knowledge of musical instruments and written music.

• Create business by networking with teachers/schools, churches, and community organizations.
• Develop customer relationships and provide compelling sales presentations based on sales training.

• Participate in all areas of store's operation including merchandising, displays, and maintenance.
• Maintain store security including: perimeter door keys, register keys and personal alarm code.
• Additional duties as assigned.
