Job summary

UPS is seeking a warehouse supervisor to oversee safety, production, attendance, and quality performance. You will lead workgroups, train staff, and maintain high standards for accuracy and customer service.

You will cultivate strong relationships across all levels, implement development plans, and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations while driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. This is a seasonal role based at UPS facilities.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Flexible shift availability up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent - Preferred.
• Management experience - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensure all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times, in full compliance with department, station, corporate and local government requirements.
• Manages department resources to ensure maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency at all times.
• Establishes and promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement, proactive communication, inter-departmental cooperation, and continual improvement.
• Implements employee personal development plans as required to ensure ongoing professional growth.
• Ensures all department employees receive orientation, skills and safety training, appropriate materials and information, regular evaluations, and proactive coaching.
• Ensures all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.
