Job summary

Fairmont Olympic Hotel, located in downtown Seattle, seeks a Part-Time Seasonal Barback for The George Restaurant. Join a historic hotel and support bartenders while delivering guest-focused service in a luxurious setting.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $22.66 plus tips, with employee benefits and growth opportunities. Training is provided, and eligibility to work in the USA is required. End date around January 1, 2027.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Previous barback or similar role experience preferred but not required; training provided.
• Must hold valid Food Handlers Card and MAST permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders in preparing and serving beverages.

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Part-Time Seasonal Barback to join our team at the prestigious George Restaurant, located within the Fairmont Olympic Hotel. This positiona has a tentative end date of January 1st, 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist bartenders in preparing and serving a wide range of beverages with precision and efficiency
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area and all related equipment
• Replenish bar supplies, including glassware, garnishes, and ingredients, to ensure uninterrupted service
• Collaborate closely with the bar team to support smooth and efficient operations
• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing top-notch service
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
• Previous experience as a barback or in a similar role is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate
• Must hold valid authorization to work in the USA
• Food HandersCardand MAST permit required
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
