Job summary

Maximum Heights Academy in Omaha, NE seeks a dedicated support staff/teacher's aide to assist the lead teacher and help create a positive, enriching classroom environment for children.

You will support curriculum implementation, model appropriate behavior, supervise play, assist with meals, and cover duties as needed. The role requires love of working with children, reliability, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Attend all staff meetings and recommended training programs and conferences.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Description:

Support staff/teacher's aide reports directly to lead teacher. As part of the team the support staff will care for children. They will work to build an environment within the center that provides the children with positive and enriching experiences. Support staff serves as assistant to all of the positions listed above.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists with the implementation of curriculum and daily program under the direction of the lead teacher
• Model appropriate language skills and behavior
• Maintain professional attitude and loyalty to school at all times
