Job summary

Hannaford is seeking a Store Cleaning Associate in Enosburg Falls, VT. You will maintain breakroom and restrooms, sweep floors, handle spills, and keep the store clean and safe. The role requires a flexible schedule and physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of breakrooms and restrooms.
• Sweep and damp mop all floors daily.
• Clean up spills during your shift.
• Empty all trash inside and outside of store.
• Schedule rotation and cleaning of dairy shelves.
• Schedule cleaning of glass dairy and frozen doors.
• Sweep parking lot with designated equipment.
• Perform minor repairs of equipment and fixtures as needed.
• Shovel and salt sidewalks as needed.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain safety, fire prevention, and security standards.
• Maintain productivity levels at or above company standards.
• Treat co-workers with fairness and respect.
• Maintain good communication with management and associates.
• Provide outstanding customer service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain cleanliness of the breakroom and all restrooms.

Physical Requirements

• Stand/walk 100% of the time.
• Frequent reaching and lifting (mop buckets, spills)
• Frequently bending, kneeling and squatting.
• Ability to handle a variety of cleaning materials/substances.
• Lift up to 40 lbs. approximately 50% of the time.
• Push/pull up to 40 lbs. regularly

Salary range is between $ 15.00 - $19.65 Hrly
