Job summary

Leap Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate for a San Francisco boutique from October 1 through March 2027. You will create memorable shopping experiences, share brand stories, and deliver personalized recommendations while representing Parks Project through Leap’s store network.

About the Role

We are committed to finding exceptional talent to represent our boutique San Francisco October 1 through March 2027 We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Sales Associate who enjoys creating meaningful connections, delivering exceptional service, and contributing to a successful store environment.

As a brand ambassador, you will bring the customer experience to life through authentic engagement, product knowledge, and thoughtful selling. You will build relationships with customers by understanding their needs, sharing the brand story, and providing personalized recommendations that create memorable shopping experiences.

In this role, you will support daily sales initiatives, maintain store standards, and collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming, service-driven environment. Depending on business needs, this role may include opening and closing responsibilities, keyholder duties, and supporting daily store operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced retail setting, balances multiple priorities with attention to detail, and brings enthusiasm, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.

As part of the Leap platform, you may also have opportunities to support other brands within our portfolio through new store openings, activations, and market coverage needs.

Hourly Pay Range: $20/hr – $22/hr. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, competencies, and qualifications.

What You'll Do
Deliver an Exceptional Customer Experience
  • Create meaningful customer connections through authentic engagement, active listening, and personalized recommendations.
  • Provide an elevated shopping experience by understanding customer needs and delivering thoughtful product solutions.
  • Represent the brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
Drive Sales Through Engagement
  • Support store sales goals through proactive customer engagement and strong selling behaviors.
  • Develop product knowledge to educate customers, share brand stories, and build purchase confidence.
  • Assist customers throughout their shopping journey, from initial engagement through checkout.
Support Store Operations
  • Maintain a customer-ready environment by supporting visual merchandising, replenishment, cleanliness, and overall store presentation.
  • Assist with inventory tasks, shipment processing, and daily operational priorities.
  • Complete opening and closing procedures, keyholder responsibilities, and assigned operational tasks as needed.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and brand standards to ensure a consistent store experience.
Contribute to the Team
  • Collaborate with teammates and leadership to achieve store goals, support daily operations, and create a positive team environment.
  • Remain flexible and adaptable to support changing business needs, including peak selling periods, events, and special initiatives.

Position Requirements
  • Previous retail, hospitality, or customer-facing experience preferred.
  • Passion for creating exceptional customer experiences and building authentic connections.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage a diverse range of customers.
  • Ability to learn product knowledge and confidently share brand stories.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support store priorities and collaborate with others.
  • Ability to take ownership of assigned store responsibilities, including opening/closing procedures and keyholder duties as needed.
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floor to support an exceptional guest experience.
  • Dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak retail periods.
  • Ability to actively work on the sales floor, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
