Job summary

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans according to the patient's needs, goals, and physician direction. Responsibilities include the direction of therapy services and ensuring the design of functional treatment programs for effective community reintegration. The therapist will also educate patients, families, students, and coworkers, while upholding professional standards and the organization's mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients, utilizing clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document care in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
• Participate in the student program as assigned, providing a positive learning environment and supervision for students.
• Create an individualized professional development plan focused on continuing education and professional growth.
• Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
• Understand and participate in organizational performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Required Experience

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• At least 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR certification.

Certifications/Licensure

Current Physical Therapy license in good standing is required.
