Giant Food in Maryland seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacist in providing safe, accurate and efficient pharmacy services. This role fills and labels prescriptions, maintains patient records, and helps with inventory control, following state and federal regulations.

Under supervision, you will assist with health screenings and immunizations as needed, process transactions, answer questions, and ensure a positive experience for patients and customers.

Position Summary

The Pharmacy Technician supports the pharmacist in providing safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy services. This role is responsible for filling and labeling prescriptions, maintaining patient records, and assisting with inventory control and ordering. The Pharmacy Technician provides excellent customer service by answering questions, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Working under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, the technician helps create a positive and professional experience for patients and customers. The Technician may perform health screenings and immunizations based on business needs and applicable regulations governed by the Board of Pharmacy.

Compensation

Salary range is between $19.40 - $20.25 per hour.
