Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read and follow prescriptions.
• Examine package contents and verify against RX/invoices.
• Unbox incoming cases and prepare for production.
• Match work order tickets with proper case pans before production.
• Disinfect incoming impressions prior to production.
• Prepare packing slips and shipping orders.
• Determine shipping methods based on routes and rates.
• Record shipment data for reporting and records.
• Request and store shipping materials to maintain inventory.
• Maintain accuracy in work performed.
• Be dependable and perform with consistency.
• Maintain safe, clean, and positive work environment.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills.

Reliable Arts Dental Lab, a subsidiary of Oral Arts Dental Lab. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Packaging Specialist to join our team in Huntsville. The role involves handling the packaging of dental prostheses with care and efficiency.

Description of responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Read and follow prescriptions.
• Examine package contents and compare with records, such as RX and invoices, to verify the accuracy of the incoming or outgoing shipments.
• Unbox incoming case boxes from the dental office to prepare for manufacturing, signing off on materials received.
• Match work order tickets with proper case pans prior to production.
• Disinfect incoming impressions from the dental office prior to being placed into production.
• Prepare documents, such as packing slips and shipping orders to route materials.
• Determine shipping methods for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
• Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes.
• Request and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
• Accuracy in work performed.
• Dependable and consistent performance.
• Efficient and effective time management.
• Contribute to a safe, clean and happy work environment.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
