Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Sticht Center is seeking a full-time Physical and Occupational Therapy Technician to support the inpatient rehabilitation team and assist with hands-on patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and effective communication with patients and families. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling tools (EPIC preferred) is strongly desired.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office preferred.
• EPIC experience and scheduling experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist therapists with Physical, Occupational, Speech, or Recreational Therapy treatments and/or completion of paperwork.
• Supervises patient exercise program in Physical and Occupational Therapy under the direct guidance of a therapist or an assistant.
• Prepares modalities for the Physical and Occupational Therapy licensed staff.
• Transports patients and equipment.
• Monitors equipment for cleanliness and operation per regulatory guidelines.
• Reinforces patient and family education as instructed by the licensed therapy staff.
• Copies, stocks, and inventories therapy forms and supplies.
• Assists with orienting new and rotating staff.
• Provides cross-coverage as needed throughout Advocate Health facilities.

The Inpatient Rehabilitation team at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Sticht Center is seeking a full time Physical and Occupational Therapy Technician to join the dynamic team. Qualified applicants must possess a strong attention to detail, excellent team and patient communication skills, flexibility, organization and time management skills. Candidates must have previous training with Microsoft Office applications and be able to work in a fast paced rehabilitation environment. This role is responsible for multidisciplinary scheduling for the inpatient rehab therapy team, various administrative tasks, as well as hands-on patient care. EPIC experience and scheduling experience are strongly preferred but not required.
