Nutrition & Culinary Cook

Eventide Sheyenne Crossings is currently seeking a Part-Time Nutrition & Culinary Cook. The position offers various hours and days, including weekend and holiday rotations.

The Nutrition & Culinary Cook is responsible for preparing and/or supervising the preparation of food served to residents, ensuring compliance with sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards, and following established food production procedures.

Ideal Candidate
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Culinary Degree preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation
Essential Job Functions
  • Prepares high-quality meals according to standardized recipes
  • Uses and supervises accurate portion control standards
  • Organizes and plans work schedules to meet meal service times
  • Maintains sanitary conditions in the kitchen at all times
  • Verifies all menus daily to ensure necessary items are prepared
  • Stores leftovers properly following food handling standards
  • Operates equipment safely, sanitarily, and respectfully
  • Supervises the dining experience to ensure resident satisfaction
  • Checks food temperatures and documents in the temperature log
  • Performs cleaning tasks as scheduled
  • Cleans equipment and work areas to meet safety and sanitation standards
  • Manages inventory and orders food to maintain adequate stock
