Job summary

The GIANT Company in Chambersburg is seeking a meat department associate to help customers and assist in product receiving, inventory, and storage. You will rotate product, price and label items, stock cases, and prepare valued-added products while maintaining safety standards in all meat areas.

You will also provide exceptional service, apply product knowledge, and support in service counter operations and special orders as needed.

Primary Purpose

• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
• Process cuts for service counter or special orders.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, communicate, and understand company policies and safety regulations in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment.
