Job summary

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center & Thrift Stores in Fort Wayne, Indiana is seeking a part-time Box Truck Driver working 25 hours per week. You will perform local pickups and deliveries, ensure safe handling of donated goods, and maintain vehicle readiness with regular inspections.

Requirements include a high school diploma, two years driving experience, DOT pre-employment screening, and a valid For-Hire endorsement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years licensed driving experience.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT screen, drug test, and background check.
• Valid Driver's License with For-Hire Endorsement.
• Clear MVR report.
• Successful completion of required testing.

Responsibilities

• Follow scheduled routing procedures efficiently.
• Drive Salvation Army truck for pickups and deliveries.
• Ensure security and safe handling of all goods and materials.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Comply with all DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Train and Certify New Production Assistants/Drivers.
