Job summary

Easter Seals Tennessee is hiring a Job Coach to help individuals supported maintain paid employment in integrated business settings. The role supports one member with potential for more hours and full-time if desired, with automatic increases at 6 months and 1 year plus annual performance pay.

Responsibilities include on-going training, driving service recipients to workplaces, and ensuring access to coordinated supports and services tailored to each individual’s strengths and goals.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background and drug screen test.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and High School Diploma.
• Preferred CPR and/or First Aid Certification.
• Preferred Medication Administration Certification.
• 30+ hours/week eligible for benefits; 40 hours PTO.

• Perform the duties of Job Coach assisting service members in developing workplace supports for competitive employment.
• Provide ongoing training and supports in work ethics, conduct, and performance.
• Assist service members in obtaining and maintaining competitive employment.
• May transport service recipients to and from employment sites as assigned.
• Participate in planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of member services and supports.

The Job Coach’s job function is to help individuals supported maintain paid employment in integrated business settings.

This specific Job Coaching duty would support a member Mon-Fri , If candidate desires more hours, additional hours are available and full-time. This position currently assists 1 member with job coaching supports. Automatic increases at 6 month and 1 year, along with annual performance pay.

• Perform the duties of Job Coach assisting service members in the development of workplace supports to assure the best possible opportunity for successful competitive employment.

• Provide on-going training and supports to service recipients in work ethics, conduct, and performance.

• Support service members in obtaining and maintaining competitive employment.

• May be responsible for transporting service recipients to and from employment sites as assigned.

Staff are key in providing what is needed to help an individual learn, keep or improve skills necessary to live in a home, providing supports based on an individual's hopes, dreams, and preferences and individuals are afforded privacy and are treated with dignity and respect, to have access to coordinated services and supports determined by the individual's unique strengths, needs and choices. Staff actively participate in all aspects of planning, implementation monitoring and evaluation of member services and supports.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to pass a background and drug screen test

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS.

• Current CPR and/or First Aid Certification

• Current Medication Administration Certification

• 30 or more hours a week are eligible for benefits.
