Job summary

The GIANT Company in Souderton, PA is seeking a dedicated team member to clean offices, restrooms, break areas and common spaces. You will operate floor cleaners and power washers, remove trash, and keep surfaces and floors spotless while following PPE and safety rules.

Responsibilities include reviewing the shift schedule, cleaning, dusting, and restocking supplies, plus using floor cones for hazard areas. This role requires English proficiency and reliability.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Promptly, at the start of the shift, the team member will review the work schedule, check the equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled, comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, and otherwise prepare for duties.
• Clean and vacuum floors in the office and conference spaces.
• Clean and mop tile floors in restrooms and break areas.
• Remove all trash, operate compactor and bailer, clean up all spills in the store, and use power washer to clean sidewalks.
• Dust and wash surfaces.
• Wash mirrors, glass, surfaces, floors, and equipment in all break rooms, lunchrooms, and restrooms.
• Resupply items as needed.
• Use floor cones to designate potentially hazardous floor conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 30 or 60 days.
