Job summary

Cascade Healthcare Services seeks a part-time Instructor to join the Operations team at the Tacoma Training Center. You will instruct courses under AHA, ARC, ENA, NAEMT, AAP and other guidelines, while maintaining facilities and equipment.

You will attend client and vendor meetings as needed to grow Cascade's course offerings and support client expectations. Ideal candidates have 3 years of instructional experience and a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

  • Instruct courses according to credentialing bodies and Cascade Training Center policies.
  • Experience in teaching or training is preferred.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Instruct courses per credentialing guidelines and Cascade policies.
  • Act as Course Director or secondary instructor as required.
  • Support client expectations under service agreements.
  • Input student data into the system.
  • Maintain and clean training equipment.
  • Recommend equipment upgrades when needed.
  • Set up and teardown classroom equipment and spaces.
  • Attend client meetings as needed to grow course offerings.

Position Details

Part‑Time, less than 30 Hours per week

Position Summary

The Instructor is part of the Operations team and is responsible for instructing the courses they are credentialed to teach under American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), Emergency Nurses Association (ENA), National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT), American Academy of Pediatricians (AAP) and/or other course guidelines. The Instructor works directly with the Operations team to maintain Cascade facilities and equipment. This position will also attend client and vendor meetings as needed in order to maintain and grow Cascades course offerings.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Operations Support
    • Instruct courses based on policies and guidelines set forth by credentialing bodies and Cascade Training Center.
    • Act as Course Director or secondary instructor depending on Operations needs.
    • Assist region in managing and fulfilling client expectations based on service agreements.
    • Input TMS student data.
    • Maintain and clean training equipment.
    • Recommend training equipment replacement and upgrades as needed.
    • Maintain training rooms in a clean and presentable manner including setup and teardown of classroom equipment.
    • Attend client meetings as needed.
    • Other duties as assigned.
  • Students attendance, Scores, Scanned copies of course records.
Education

Bachelor's Degree - preferred

Experience

3 years of instruction preferred
