Job summary

Cascade Healthcare Services in Seattle seeks a part-time instructor to teach courses under AHA, ARC, ENA, NAEMT, AAP guidelines and/or other course standards. The instructor collaborates with the Operations team to maintain Cascade facilities and equipment and to expand course offerings.

The role involves attending client and vendor meetings, ensuring quality instruction and alignment with credentialing bodies, and maintaining accurate student data and records.

Qualifications

  • Instruct courses per credentialing bodies and Cascade Training Center policies.
  • Experience with credentialing guidelines (AHA, ARC, ENA, NAEMT, AAP).
  • Maintain Cascade facilities and training equipment.
  • Attend client/vendor meetings to grow course offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Instruct courses based on credentialing bodies and Cascade policies.
  • Act as Course Director or secondary instructor as needed.
  • Assist region in managing client expectations per service agreements.
  • Input TMS student data and track attendance/scores.
  • Maintain and sanitize training equipment; recommend upgrades.
  • Set up/teardown classrooms and ensure a clean, presentable space.
  • Attend client meetings as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Instructor is part of the Operations team and is responsible for instructing the courses they are credentialed to teach under American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), Emergency Nurses Association (ENA), National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT), American Academy of Pediatricians (AAP) and/or other course guidelines. The Instructor works directly with the Operations team to maintain Cascade facilities and equipment. This position will also attend client and vendor meetings as needed in order to maintain and grow Cascades course offerings.

Qualifications
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Instruct courses based on policies and guidelines set forth by credentialing bodies and Cascade Training Center.
  • Act as Course Director or secondary instructor depending on Operations needs.
  • Assist region in managing and fulfilling client expectations based on service agreements.
  • Input TMS student data.
  • Students attendance.
  • Scores.
  • Scanned copies of course records.
  • Training equipment management. Maintain and clean training equipment. Recommend training equipment replacement and upgrades as needed.
  • Maintain training rooms in a clean and presentable manner including setup and teardown of classroom equipment.
  • Attend client meetings as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education

Bachelor degree - preferred

Experience

3 years of instruction preferred
