Job summary

Jovie of Seattle, WA is seeking a gentle and proactive nanny to care for their baby girl. This part‑time role covers two 8‑hour days weekly, with a focus on screen‑free interaction, developmentally appropriate play, and close collaboration with the parents.

You will follow the infant’s feed, play, and sleep rhythms, join walks, assist with light household tasks, and help keep a calm, safe home on a two‑story house with a Labradoodle. Must have baby vaccines (flu and Tdap) and enjoy outdoor time.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on infant nannying experience.
• Gentle, attentive, and safety-conscious approach.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proactive, self-starting, and comfortable taking initiative.
• Comfortable following an infant's feed, play, and sleep rhythms.
• Comfortable navigating a two-story home with a steep staircase while caring for an infant.
• Committed to providing screen‑free care.
• Must have baby-related vaccinations, including flu and Tdap, before starting.
• Comfortable working in a home with a friendly, medium‑sized dog.
• Able to collaborate with parents around feeding and infant care.
• Glowing references from recent nanny positions.

Responsibilities
