Job summary

UPS is seeking a supervisor to oversee Package Handlers, train and develop workgroups, and uphold safety, production and attendance standards. The role emphasizes leadership, accountability, and a strong commitment to quality and safety across all levels of the organization.

The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement, maintain high standards for accuracy and customer service, and foster collaboration among teams while ensuring OSHA compliance and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

Must be able to lift 70 lbs / 32 kg.
Flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred.
Management experience - Preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure that all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times, operating in full compliance with department, station, corporate and OSHA requirements.
Manage department resources to ensure maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency at all times.
Establish a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement, pro-active communication, inter-departmental cooperation, and continual improvement on all levels.
Implement employee personal development plans as required to ensure the continuing professional growth of department personnel.
Ensure all department employees receive specific and detailed orientation, skills and safety training, appropriate materials and information, regular evaluations, and pro-active coaching.
Ensure all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.

Job Summary This position supervises Package Handlers and trains, develops, and holds workgroups responsible for safety, production and attendance. This position sets and maintains high standards for account productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety. Pay Range

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $26.25/hr to $42.65/hr. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
