Job summary

PMM Companies is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Cleaner to join our team. The General Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness across our premises, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for employees, visitors, and guests.

The schedule is Monday through Friday from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour. Responsibilities include cleaning, disinfecting restrooms, restocking supplies, operating cleaning equipment, and following

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties across the facility (sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming).
• Clean and disinfect restrooms and fixtures.
• Empty trash and recycling bins regularly.
• Wipe and sanitize surfaces and door handles.
• Monitor supplies and restock as needed.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely (vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers).
• Report maintenance needs to the Facilities Manager.
• Assist with events cleanup and setup.
• Follow established safety protocols and guidelines.

• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming all areas of the facility.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures.
• Empty and dispose of trash and recycling bins regularly.
• Wipe down and sanitize surfaces, such as desks, countertops, and door handles.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and floor scrubbers.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Facilities Manager.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning up after events or meetings.
• Follow established safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning tasks.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 to 50 pounds.
