Who We Are

We are Tennis! The USTA (United States Tennis Association) is the national governing body for the sport of tennis and the leader in promoting and developing the sport’s growth on every level in the United States, from local communities to the crown jewel of the professional game, the US Open.

The Role

  • Assign court time and handle cash receipts and assist with program registrations.
  • Assign courts to players for open time, donated courts, private & group lessons in a computerized reservation system, as well as assist patrons with program registrations and offerings.
  • Assist in answering general phone inquiries regarding reservations, prices & information, and program offerings.
  • Serve as an information center for patrons, providing them with pertinent information and changes regarding procedures and registration for tennis programs.
  • Collect monies and record them for open time and teaching programs.
  • Monitor locker room operations on nights/weekends, as necessary.

  • Excellent guest service skills.
  • Excellent phone manner.
  • Project a professional company image through phone and in-person interaction.
  • Computer proficiency; able to learn new programs.
  • This position is designated as "on-site" and requires the employee to be at the office site to complete the required tasks associated with the position.

What We Offer

The salary for this position is $18.00 per hour. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, and unique skills.
