UCP Heartland is seeking compassionate Residential Direct Care Professionals (DSP) for the Saint Louis area. This part-time role covers weekend shifts with a schedule including Monday and Friday blocks and a Saturday shift, totaling 19.5 hours per week, at $21.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily tasks, personal hygiene, activities, following medical orders, and providing client choices for activities and outings.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Clean driving record and completion of driver training.
• At least one weekend shift per weekend.
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service role.
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Computer proficiency needed.

MONDAY 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

FRIDAY 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM

SATURDAY 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

19.5 Hours Weekly

As a DSP (Direct Care Provider) you will perform the following responsibilities:

Provide physical assistance with daily tasks, assist with personal hygiene and facilitate fun activities.

Follow medical orders and administer medications.

Most importantly, provide choices to the clients for their daily activities to provide entertainment and community outings.

MINIMUM EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or its equivalent (GED).
• Clean Driving Record and successfully completes and maintains assigned drivers training
• A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEKEND SHIFT PER WEEKEND
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to consistently work in a professional, cooperative manner with all Agency clients and personnel.
• Good written and oral communication skills

THIS POSITION DOES REQUIRE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION, VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE WITH CLEAN DRIVING RECORD!

THIS POSITION REQUIRES 5-7 DAYS OF MANDATORY TRAINING AT OUR CORPORATE OFFICE Monday through Friday 8:45 AM - 4:30PM
