Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT/DPT) for our Outpatient Rehab at Jewett Orthopedic Institute in Orlando, FL.

This full-time role features a standard 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with patient evaluations, treatment planning, and patient education. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in physical therapy from an approved program.
• Current Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida.
• Current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.
• Strong communication and teamwork in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and collects data from patient, physician, and team.
• Develops treatment plans with specific goals and objectives.
• Demonstrates safe use of equipment and observes safety precautions.
• Provides age-appropriate care and maintains patient documentation.
• Re-evaluates plans and communicates progress to patient and team.
• Educates patients and families on care and expectations.
