Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Coushatta, LA is hiring a part-time Clinical Dietitian (about 20 hours per week) to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy in an acute care setting. You will work with a collaborative team to improve patient outcomes and support nutrition care plans.

The ideal candidate is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or eligible for the CDR exam, with licensure in the state; new grads are welcome to apply. Perks include career advancement programs and free CEUs.

• Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
• Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long‑term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community.
• Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high‑quality, consistent care.
• Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence.
• Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
• Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable.
