CorrHealth in Fort Collins, CO is recruiting a Dentist to provide dental services within a correctional facility. The role requires current dental licensure in the state and adherence to security policies; you will document activities for HSARN and maintain CME requirements.
Essentials include reporting to the facility, evaluating patient care, using standard precautions, and collaborating with jail health staff.
Our Dentist provides the dental services to patients. They provide the required documentation to the HSARN in order to monitor compensation for service compliance with the facility contract. If there are changes within scheduled coverage, they notify the Director of Operations and HSA. They abide by the security regulations of the facilities, and the regulations of the institution to which they are assigned. The Dentist also maintains CME requirements for continued dental practice in the state of employment.

Work is performed inside a correctional facility. Employees are exposed to some level of risk and/or harm by inmates including exposure to blood borne pathogens. Employee is expected to work in accordance with all security rules and regulations to minimize the risk of danger and/or harm to themselves or other employees.
