DHL is hiring a part-time driver to perform time-sensitive pick-up and delivery of documents and packages. The role requires safe driving, adherence to routes and schedules, and strong customer service.

The driver will operate scanners, maintain accuracy, and support team members in training and route optimization. Applicants should be 21+ with a valid license, a good driving record, and the ability to pass background checks and health screenings.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Candidate must be 21 years or older
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Map reading and knowledge of the delivery area preferred
• Previous professional driving experience in a delivery role is a plus
• Pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, and medical evaluation

Responsabilités

• Drive to customer sites under deadlines, safely loading and delivering documents and packages in all weather.
• Pickup and deliver time-sensitive documents and packages safely and on time, considering traffic and routes.
• Ensure delivery items are handed to the correct recipient.
• Operate a scanner to record shipping details for pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain punctuality and adhere to standard work and safety procedures.
• Report security concerns or unusual events to the supervisor promptly.
• Assist supervisor with training and guiding junior couriers.
• Assist in performance checks and route practice reviews.
