Job summary

Green Country Village Senior Living in Bartlesville, OK is seeking a Part-time PT Certified Nurse Aide to join our nursing team. The CNA will provide personal and non-personal care per each resident’s care plan and support daily living activities with a person-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Keeps Charge Nurse, Nursing Coordinator, and Assisted Living Director informed of resident status.
• Assists with meal service including table setup, serving, and dining room tasks.
• Records accurate progress notes and other required documentation.
• Demonstrates hospitality promises and professional conduct with residents, employees, and guests.

Job description

Salary:$14/hr – negotiable based on experience. Shift differentials for overnights($1/hr) & weekends ($1.50/hr)

Schedule:Varies, to include weekends as well.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Oklahoma certification as Certified Nurse Aide (CNA).
• Experience in Senior Living preferred.
• Ability to maintain 100% confidentiality with all work, conversations, documents, etc.
• Ability to recognize and respond to emergency situations.
• Ability to display a courteous, friendly, and helpful attitude to the public, residents, and employees at all times.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand/walk for up to 100% of the work day.
• Ability to assist in bathing and dressing of residents with disabilities.
• Must be able to access and navigate full campus.
• Ability to independently push a wheelchair with a resident weighing up to 200 pounds.
• Ability to independently lift, balance, and carry up to 30 pounds.

General Summary:

The PT Certified Nurse Aideis responsible for providing personal and non-personal care assistance to residents when there is a need and following each resident’s personal plan of care; assists residents so that current living conditions can be maintained for as long as is safe and appropriate; promotes independence with daily activities while giving assistance to each resident.

• Keeps Charge Nurse, Nursing Coordinator, and Assisted Living Director informed of the status of each resident.
• Assists with meal service including table set-up, serving, tableside assistance, apartment deliveries, beverage service, dining room cleaning, etc.
• Records accurate and timely resident progress notes, condition change notes, and other documentation as required and/or assigned.
