Job summary

Stop & Shop in Sandwich, MA is seeking a friendly Meat Clerk to assist customers by selecting quality cuts and answering questions in the meat department. You will stock and maintain display cases and help weigh, prepare, label and package products to ensure accurate weighings and attractive presentation.

In this role you may assist in other department tasks as needed to support store operations. Prior experience in retail or meat department is helpful, and you should be comfortable complying

Primary Purpose

Our meat clerks select the best cuts for customers and help them find what they need. That's not all. They also stock and maintain display cases and help our meat cutters weigh, prepare, label and package products. This is just a general overview of their job duties. You may be asked to assist in other ways too, depending on the needs of your store.
